The name Barramasi comes from an age-old poetic tradition — one that speaks of love and longing across the twelve months of the Indian calendar. It is a form, a feeling, a rhythm — and in every scarf we create, that spirit lives on. As the months turn — from sun to monsoon, from dusky fields to flowering gardens — so do our colours. Every collection is a season captured in cloth.

Our scarves are not trends. They are inheritances. Each one is born from the hands of master artisans, dyed in the language of the earth, and printed with care passed through generations. You will find the faded joy of village summers, the regal quiet of marble palaces, the scent of rosewood and rain — all hidden gently in these folds.

We believe in slow beauty — the kind that grows on you, that speaks in glances, and that never shouts. That is why no two Barramasi pieces are exactly alike. Each one carries a mood, a memory, a mark of the hand that shaped it. And when you wear it, you don’t just wear a scarf — you carry a story. A piece of India, resting softly on your shoulders.

Terms and Conditions : As part of this spirit of celebration and surprise, some of our offerings come as curated  combo packs — thoughtfully assorted with a blend of prints, motifs, and moods. These combos are designed to offer a journey, not just a purchase — a little festival of variety. Since each combo is pre-curated and unique, we do not offer returns on these packs. However, we understand the nature of wear and choice — and are happy to offer exchanges within 2–3 working days of receiving your order, should you wish to explore a different colour or mood. Refunds are not applicable on these combos, as they are crafted and packed with intention and care.
